Connecticut resident Joanne Linn and her husband Bob lost their beloved son Benjamin to the opioid crisis. Devastated and grieving, Joanne composed a series of poems dedicated to the spirit of her son. Elegy for a Lost Son is her way of paying tribute to him and is also an exploration of the first year of her grief process. The poems are written from her heart and it is her hope that they may touch others who might be experiencing a similar crisis.
